Bank of Baroda has released an official recruitment notification for 2,482 Local Bank Officer posts in Junior Management Grade/Scale-I. The vacancies are distributed across 20 states, including 40 vacancies in Assam
Grade/Scale: Junior Management Grade/Scale-I (JMG/S-I)
Organization: Bank of Baroda
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a university or institution recognized by the Government of India, government bodies or AICTE.
Preferred Certifications: The Bank has listed IC 38, NISM Series V-A, NISM Series XXI-A and NISM Series XIII among its preferred certifications. These certifications are desirable and have not been listed as mandatory qualifications.
Experience: Candidates must have at least one year of post-qualification experience as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank listed in the Second Schedule of the Reserve Bank of India. Clerical experience will not be considered.
Experience Calculation: Experience of less than six months with an organization will not count unless it forms part of the candidate’s current employment. Candidates will have to produce an experience certificate and an employer-certified job profile.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates. PwBD candidates receive a relaxation of 10 years for General/EWS, 13 years for OBC and 15 years for SC/ST. Eligible ex-servicemen receive category-wise relaxation of 5 to 10 years.
Application Fee: General, OBC and EWS candidates must pay ₹850. The fee for SC, ST, PwBD, ESM, DESM and women candidates is ₹175. These amounts include GST, while applicable payment gateway charges must be paid separately.
Local Language: Candidates must be able to read, write, speak and understand the local language of the state for which they apply. The prescribed languages for Assam are Assamese and Bodo.
Pay Scale: ₹48,480-2,000/7-62,480-2,340/2-67,160-2,680/7-85,920, along with applicable allowances and benefits under the Bank’s policies.
Negative Marking: A penalty of 0.25 marks will apply for each wrong answer. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.
Documents Required: Candidates should keep their photograph, signature, left thumb impression, handwritten declaration, resume, date-of-birth proof, educational certificates, experience certificate and applicable category certificate ready for upload.
